Lisa Arnette is a veteran fundraising professional who has committed herself to strengthening the nonprofit sector since accepting her first fund development position in 1990. Over the course of 25 years, Lisa worked in varying disciplines, including higher and secondary education, arts and museums, public broadcasting, and international health.

Her experience includes comprehensive fundraising programs, nonprofit volunteer and board management, and marketing and public relations. During her decade-long tenure in public broadcasting, Lisa guided a capital campaign to a successful conclusion that included the first Kresge Foundation grant ever awarded in the state of Nevada, and she received national recognition from PBS for operating the top major giving program in the country. Upon returning to Utah in 1998, Lisa held senior fund development and marketing management positions with four nonprofit organizations before joining the team at Pathway Associates in 2013. Today, she works primarily with clients to develop and manage sustained grant seeking programs.

An experienced teacher and presenter, Lisa guides workshops and daylong trainings on nonprofit issues ranging from fundraising to governance. She has served sine 2007 as a fundraising instructor for the University of Utah’s Nonprofit Academy for Excellence and has led panel discussions and made presentations at local and national conferences.

Lisa has been a committed volunteer for 30 years and currently is Chapter President for the Grant Professionals Association Utah Chapter, sits on the Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Utah Chapter, and serves on the Advisory Council for the Nonprofit Academy. She provides volunteer mentorship to nonprofit professionals, and is an occasional musician with the all-volunteer Salt Lake Symphony. Lisa has a M.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. from the University of Utah.
