Amy L. Hansen leapt into fundraising 25 years ago by managing a capital campaign for a municipality. Since then she has been honing her skills in project management, grant research and proposal writing, event coordination, donor relationships and stewardship, management of boards and committees, community relations, and facilitating grant making and philanthropic efforts. A veteran fundraising generalist for both local and national organizations, Amy has the knowledge to showcase the unique change your organization makes possible in the world. In roles as both a development and executive director she has been able to see a destination and then create a detailed and actionable plan for how to get there.
Amy has gained extensive experience while working in the public and nonprofit sector with organizations such as; West Valley City, Preservation Utah, Boys and Girls Clubs, March of Dimes, American Red Cross, Special Olympics and private foundations. She is excited to join Pathway Associates to help organizations realize their potential. No matter who the stakeholders are – staff members, volunteers, colleagues, donors, prospects, patrons, vendors, or the community – she thrives on bringing people together in a spirit of collaboration to reach common goals.
Amy earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Utah State University with dual majors in Political Science and Sociology. She has been active as a participant, facilitator and trainer for Utah Nonprofits Association, Utah Society of Fundraisers and the Governor’s Office on Volunteerism (formerly lead by Utah’s First Ladies). She was a Rotary International Young Professional Exchange Team Member, providing vocational expertise and volunteer service in the Philippines while representing her home state of Utah. She has also served as a volunteer and committee member for numerous community organizations around the state.
