When we think of fundraising our focus can often be on the question, "What are our options for finding money?" or, "How are we going to resource a proposed program, building, staff member, etc.” However, it is important for nonprofits to ask the questions, “Are we organizationally in a good position to manage an influx of new funding? Do we have the right staff to manage significant additional financial resources? Do we have the right financial policies and procedures in place?”
