Corporate Sponsorships as Partners

A solid corporate sponsorship strategy is key to the success of any special event.  Yet, event managers often unintentionally let this important task take a back seat to event logistics.  One of the biggest mistakes I see in special event fundraising is notion that a “one-size-fits-all” sponsorship program is effective.  Corporate sponsors want to feel like a partner, not just a paycheck, and by implementing some of the strategies discussed below, I’m confident you’ll experience greater success in with your corporate sponsor solicitations.
