YWCA of Salt Lake City

In anticipation of its centennial anniversary, the YWCA of Salt Lake City hired Pathway Associates to conduct a capital campaign feasibility study to test its ability to raise private funds for a badly needed campus expansion.

The hoped for expansion was to include a new domestic violence shelter, a new family justice center, and restoration of its historic core facility, with cost projections in excess of $20 million – a big number for a non-profit that had previously raised only $3 million in a capital campaign.

Pathway Associates came back with a positive recommendation for a phased capital campaign and began working with YWCA leadership to implement a campaign that would ultimately raise in excess of $21 million. Today, construction of the new shelter is complete and construction is underway on the Family Justice Center.

"Pathway Associates has been our guide every step of the way through what has. . . been a very successful Centennial Capital Campaign. We couldn't have come this far without them."
